Potassium permanganate 3 grams
$6.99
Product Overview
Potassium permanganate (permanganate) 99%, 3 g. A weak solution of permanganate will protect seeds from overwintering pests and fungal spores. This is why it is customary to soak seeds and plant tubers for half an hour in such a solution (0.5 g of potassium permanganate per 100 ml of water) before planting. Thanks to magnesium and potassium, permanganate is an excellent addition to boric acid, making a great foliar feed for garden strawberries, currants, blueberries, raspberries, and gooseberries. It is best to carry out this procedure in early spring. Apple trees, cherry trees, cabbage, peas, beans, beets, and potatoes respond well to fertilizers with these elements. A weak solution of permanganate is also successfully used as a treatment for plants against fungal diseases. It can save strawberries from gray mold and tomatoes from late blight.
