Korneregel 5% is an eye gel used to treat various eye conditions, such as recurrent erosions and corneal inflammation, as well as adjunctive treatment for bacterial, viral, or fungal corneal infections. It is recommended to use the gel according to your doctor’s instructions. The gel is sold in 5-gram tubes.
Ingredients
- Dexpanthenol 5% (active ingredient – corneal regeneration and healing)
- Carbomer (gel-forming base for prolonged contact)
- Cetrimide (preservative)
- Sodium hydroxide (pH adjuster)
- Purified water
How To Take
Apply a small amount of gel (approximately 1 cm strip) into the lower conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) 3–5 times daily, or as directed by a physician. For best results, apply the last dose before bedtime. Remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
