How To Take
Prepare an infusion by pouring 200 ml of boiling water over 1–2 tablespoons of dried elder flowers; steep for 15–20 minutes and strain. Drink 1/3 cup (approximately 70 ml) 3 times daily before meals as a diaphoretic or expectorant. For gargling in cases of laryngitis or tonsillitis, use the strained infusion warm, 3–4 times per day.
